What’s a Resume Writer?
A resume writer typically takes the time to perfect and write a resume tailored to you and your position.
What’s the Benefit of a Resume Writer?
They write 100’s sometimes 1000’s of resumes daily. They have a way with words, and can tailor resumes to job descriptions. They are typically going to know how the resume filtering systems at jobs work, and will be able to help you create a resume that will have a higher chance of getting through this first step of machine resume reading.
Do I Really Need Multiple Resumes?
Short answer is yes. Long answer is, it really depends. If you are someone who is a master at networking, probably not! You would probably only need one really nice looking resume to hand out at networking events along with a business card. However, if you’re like me, then you’re an introvert, and networking is one of your least favorite things to do ever. In this case, it’s definitely better to have multiple resumes that you can tailor to each job title (and sometimes posting) you’re looking at applying for. That way: minimal interaction! YAYYYYY!
What’s Your Expertise?
I work in entertainment, so naturally, that’s the resume that I’m the best at. However, I have done multiple different resumes ranging from artists, to production managers, to mechanics, to retail workers. I’ll learn what you do and tailor your resume to you!
